I'm from California and just moved to North Carolina. It's currently 61 degrees and I have on a long sleeved shirt and a sweatshirt. And pants... And maybe boots. Or yea, forget the maybe. I have on boots. And long socks and a mug of hot chocolate. I'm cold.

I live in Canada. Speaking for myself I can confirm, though I do know some people who don't swim.

The picture for 60 degrees in Canada should probably feature the inside of a sauna -- since 60°C = 140°F

As a Canadian I was at first really confused about the 60° thing until I realized it's Fahrenheit. :P

The California thing is the same thing where I live in Texas (I live in west Texas in the mountain and basins region). It rarely ever gets below 70
