But wouldn't a babysitter still carefully check the child's room to make sure they weren't dying or something? Checking in on a kid doesn't mean you'd wake them up... it's the smart and logical thing to do... right?

Take a realistic baby doll and hid it under the covers. That, or hire some teenager with no idea what to do
