It wasn't really a paradise after all... Amy had to wait for years and years and then died while her younger self was taken. Not ashamed to say I cried when Rory and Old Amy were pressed against the walls of the TARDIS on opposite sides. Just like 10 and Rose. :,(

I hope they didnt ruin it for you. Thats was pretty shitty. Still worth the trip though! Watch it anyway

Either way The Doctor was wrong in this instance. She wanted to get her phone because it has a camera on it..
