Actually at my house we own geese and we have had to hand raise a few of them and whenever we let them outside to live with the others the others treat them like they are worthless and don't let them into the group, sometimes even into the little shed they sleep in.
But on a happier note the ones we hand raise usually become friends and form their own little group.
There is this one goose though who is all alone, it came up to me today and just looked at me, it was looking for food. I gave it some seed before all the other dam geese came and shooed it away. When I found that goose again, our hand raised silky banter chicken was sitting with it. It was so beautiful.
