though they tried to blend more than just one of the series into the movie. other than that, i feel that it is one of the movies that did great justice to the source material

Sometimes I wish they would split a movie into multiple parts for a single book so they can get every little detail right. I would just die if they could do that

They did a pretty good job with Stephen King's "The Green Mile". However, I agree, watching a movie based on a book that you've already read and loved is often a huge let down.
