I agree. I volenteer for an animal rescue, and a few days ago we rescued a kitten(2 weeks old, mind you) who was going to be fed to someone's dog. ALIVE. i hate people... Also, I have a black cat, and I love him more then anything. Two of my kittens have died in the past 5 months, and he is all I have left. If someone hurt him.... I don't think i could take it.

Aww. Thats horrible. We got a puppy last year and had him for a long time until something happened to him. We don't know what. A couple months later we got another puppy and we had her for a long time till the coyotes got her. We have tons of other dogs but it was still horrible. We got so used to having a puppy in the house that when they left the house felt so lifeless and unhappy. I hadn't lost a dog since my really old chihuahua died from old age a couple years ago. It's kind of surprising how strong of a bond that you can have when you can't actually understand each other completely.

My friend had 4 kittens a few years ago, but she had to sell them. So a man contacted her and wanted to buy them so she gave her address and he came to get them. But when he told her he was gonna feed them to his snake she told him to leave. She decided to keep them and she still has them cause she was afraid to sell them after that incident..

Seriously, though! Why do we even use the phrase "humane" to talk about kindness. It would for better to say canine or even feline; people just are way worse

Thats what i have always thought! Sometimes they're more interesting to watch and speak to than a human too. If your sad just go talk to an animal! Heck if none of my dogs are up to it i'll just go talk to my goat or one of the chickens.

I recently adopted a black cat. Named her Pandora, sweetest little thing ever! The thought someone one would do that, shudder, is disturbing.

It's really sad that people do this. But it's true and we can't just sit here and do nothing about it. The human race is the worst thing that happened to animals. In laboritoriums they do even more horrifying things :( .

Exactly. Aren't there plenty of humans that deserve to die that we can test things on? If you're testing a product for a human than wouldn't it make more sense to test it on a human instead of an animal? And of they don't wanna test products on murderers and such than they shouldn't test them at all. If the animals were given a choice I doubt that they would want to risk their lives just to make sure that a human product is safe for humans to use.

The sad thing is, I honestly believe if animals had the choice some WOULD risk their lives just to make sure something is safe for a human.. because that's how loyal some can be. Which makes it even more fucked up..

We let our black cat outside a few days before Halloween just a few years ago, and some Satanists in our woods caught her and slit her wrists.

I love my little baby, he's three years old and he's a black cat too. I named him aiko and when anyone ask is that your cat? I say no that is my little son aiko.

I have two black cats, Arwyn and Aurora, and I don't know where my life would be without them. From now on I refuse to get any cat that isn't black just because of this fact, apparently racism goes between species too. I mean, come ON. Can they help if their fur is darker than prefered by humans? You think they choose to have it black? Imagine killing a human on Halloween just because their hair is black. That's the equivalent of killing anything because of it's fur color. And to all you shit nippled fuckers out there who do this to black cats, a word: don't. Would you do this to a white cat? Would you kill an innocent animal because of it's randomly generated chromosomes? Well, if yes, go fuck yourself.
