Canadians don't pour maple syrup on everything! I'm Canadian and the only thing I put maple syrup on is pancakes, waffles and some Canadian pastries

Though, to be fair.... Canada has a maple syrup reserve. Our 100 dollar bills smell like maple syrup, and we do have that montreal maple syrup snow thing. Plus, maple sausages.

We also have different kinds of maple bacon. Eg regular maple bacon, lazy maple, light maple, thick cut maple etc
