More accurately she couldn't hear without her glasses

She's deaf so she reads body movement so taking her glasses away renders her un able to hear.

Courage the cowardly dog

She can't hear courage because courage can't speak to her since he is a dog and she is human. He basically played charades with her or anyone he tried talking to generally throughout the show. Minus the computer which he typed his answers. Regardless, this was a pretty great showto watch while growing up. Loved it
