Good observation, but I personally would prefer an inverse sine wave (y=sin^-1(x)), or a cubic function (y=x^3, preferably with a coefficient between 0 and 1). A quadratic (y=a*x^2+b*x+c) function would probably be best used to find the shape of a tit.
