Even with a window cracked it's not good to leave your dog in the car

He could have had all the windows half way down

Doesn't matter. The car can still get very hot. It still holds in a lot of heat.

When we leave our dogs in the car we leave a bowl water in there and leave the windows partially down. But (even in such a rural place) i get paranoid that they're gunna get stolen so I don't like to leave them alone very long.
