We have candy dealers. Tons of students and teachers are selling candy, cookies, all types of sweets for fundraisers. It's been going on for years, I'm surprised the school board has said anything about it yet.
Some of these actually are fundraisers. But all year around, the special ed kids bake cookies and sell them between passing periods. You get 3 decent sized ones for $1. Plus they're always warm and soft when you get them.
Then some teachers push around candy carts and sell candy during passing periods for 50 cents to a $1 each, depending on what you get.
Our choir is selling World's Finest Chocolate Bars for $1, but that's temporary. Spanish club is selling lollipops to raise money. And the drama club just had donuts for sale to buy stuff for the play.
