Omg that During the early Medieval ages, Ireland was home to many Celtic monasteries. The monks in the monasteries believed in isolation but some of them traveled to spread their teachings. One of the most famous was Patrick who went from Britain to Ireland in the 400s. He was opposed and helped by the Irish leaders. Patrick died in 460, but, by that time, most of Ireland was Christian.
