LOL I think you got some downvotes from kids who don't know what a see & say is. I upthumbed, but remember, most FSers fear what they don't understand, and will downthumb accordingly.
They created it as a joke and they didn't expect it to become such a hit so I personally wouldn't take it seriously as a representation of our music industry
FIRST OF ALL
The dude can sing. And the beat's catchy. You gotta give them that.
They made the video to advertise their talkshow in Norway. It was an outrageous joke because they were acquainted with the people who made professional music videos for Beyonce and others.
All their music videoes are just sketches for their talkshow. It's was not the meaning that it was going to go viral and become the next 'thing'. I don't see how people can't understand that. But I gress it's hard when you're not norwegian and a fan of their talkshow.
The guys who sing "The Fox" are two Norwegian brothers who have a comedy show (kinda like Ellen) who made this video as a joke to proteome their third season. The rhythm was so good and the video and lyrics so random that it simply became popular. If you don't believe me look up 'Ellen: the fox is here!' On YouTube. It's a video of Ellen interviewing the brothers and then singing The Fox with them.
