But the tree is doing more for you than you are for it. You're already fairly exchanging carbon dioxide and oxygen, but you're still killing them for paper.

I know this will probably be downvoted but tree's hardly produce any oxygen at all, we actually get the most oxygen from sea plants. so that means if we didn't have tree's we would still have enough oxygen.
