That gives me an idea.. A mystery book exchange, perhaps. Bring books and pick them off a shelf. You don't get to see the cover. You pick one or two and take them home. Oh. And you must read the book all the way through. Might get people to read some books they normally wouldn't.

Our library does that at Valentine's Day. They call it "Blind Date with a Book" and they wrap the books in butcher paper so you can't see the title or open the book. On the front is written the genre, like "Mystery" or "Romance".
