I've had this happen to me so many times, so now that I'm a hair stylist I've vowed never to do that to my clients!

All I ask for is and inch and a half! But no, they want 5 inches.

You all do know HAIR STYLISTS HAVE A 1-7 INCH RULER ON THEIR COMBS, SO IF YOU ASK FOR AN INCH OR TWO INCHES OFF THATS WHAT THEY DO! I hate it when people complain about that. Plus its hair it grows back.

On average, hair grows up to only two inches a year. If she or he cut off five inches that would take two to three years to grow... And yes, they do have rulers, but if you are a female or male with long hair, have you ever seen the hair stylist use one? I don't think so. And a "trim" is not on or two inches. A trim should be only 1/2 an inch, IF THAT, unless the person has extremely unhealthy hair... MY SOURCE WOULD BE MY MOTHER WHO HAPPENS TO BE A PROFESSIONAL HAIR SYLIST
