I'm so confused. I was talking about the unnecessary comma before "but" and then the non-parallel clause following it. It should be something like, "There are teenagers who have unprotected sex but have cases on their cell phones."
I don't see any examination on english literature going on here and that comma can be forgiven. But you had to act like a complete grammarnazi fangirl and point it out. Please do me a favor and change your profile name to "grammarnazigreater". That would better suit your actions. Thank you.
