Don't worry, there is such a thing as terminal velocity so the shit will stop getting faster at a certain point (pretty slow) so it would only splat on their head instead.

Well the editing staff probably cut that scenes out. But what about when katniss found peeta hurt? He had to be naked so she could wash his clothes and it was a very important part of the program so they couldn't cut it out...

I don't remember if in the movie it's also like this, but in the books Peeta takes his underwear off for Katniss to clean it and she avoids looking at his... Thing. That was the reason why Johanna got naked in front of her in the second book... To piss her off.
