He's the only suspect.... He fired the three shots, his chances of been proven innocent are very VERY low. His stories also don't agree with the evidence.
You know it must be the American in me screaming, but I agree with the innocent until proven guilty. That's the way it should be even if the details point a different way. It's up to the courts of law to decide who to punish and how to punish.
He has admitted to killing her, but claims he though she was an intruder hiding in his bathroom. He fired four shots through the door "without checking".
The man is guilty as sin, anyone can see that. But theres something in my gut telling me he'll get away with it. At most, he'll be charged with manslaughter... Should've pleaded insanity...
His defense is strong. The lead investigator not only jeopardized evidence by letting officers into the crime scene without anti contamination dressing. In addition, the investigation unit leaked photographs of the door and prime evidence to media outlets for a profit.
His defense will at least include the incompetence of the investigators as well as his highly plausible confession that he suspected the noise in the toilet (with access to an external/ internal window) was an intruder.
With the high crime rate in the area, lack of security protocols in the gated community and his being a national figure in a potentially corrupt judicial system, the jury may not convict for murder nor a lesser charge.
It'll be an interesting outcome.
No, no, no. The area has a low crime rate, great security etc. Do your research first! And she locked herself in the bathroom suggesting a fight and being scared, he thenn put on his legs took his gun and fired 4 shots trough the door. Oh and how do you not notice she is not in bed with you anymore?
This is what I have been saying! If this "I thought she was a burglar" schpiel was real, surely after the first shot she would have screamed? You would have heard her scream and realised who it was? I'm sorry, he killed her. End of.
Could you read the last part again? He woke up she wasn't next to him (mistake one how do you not notice it) He then sits up puts on his legs (comfortably mistake nr2. How do you have time to take it so easy?) He takes his gun walks up to the locked door (mistake 3 why would you lock the door for your loved one) fires 4 shots. This fatally wounds her.
According to analysts the trajectory of the bullets could not have been made if Pistorius was without his prosthetic legs. In fact, the angle at which the bullets hit the door indicate that he indeed was wearing prosthetic legs.
Lol, funny to see this as I live in South Africa and we all (most of us) pretty much know he did it, seeing as he as a horrible temper, is a womaniser and his cricket bat was found with her blood on it (yes he hit her too). So this whole act of "Look at me with this little girl" doesn't pass.
Guys he killed her. He has a history of losing his temper -- badly. Plus hello cricket bat with her blood on it. You don't shoot someone four fricken times and say it was self defence.
innocent until proven guilty............yes he shot her and whether or not intentional that has to be proven...........some of you guys talk about 'that night' like you guys were there.
No matter what happens he will be charged as he has admitted to firing those shots which in turn killed his girl friend. The court case is trying to determine wether or not he planned this killing or whether it was out of mistaken identity in the heat of the moment.
