Actually in islam both jesus and Muhammad are messengers and Christianity is acknowledged as an religion. there is no conflict about who is this or who is that the important thing is the message itself which says believe in god.

I think this is a beautiful thing in islam. In a sermon there is not only mohammed mentioned as the messenger but also others. A lot of people see islam as a religion that wants to fight other religions and it's wrong to think that way.
yes that's actually true islam does NOT encouraged to fight off other religions or beliefs, but after all those terrorist attacks it's hard to explain to other what islam is about.
More like after the terrorist attacks, that's all Islam is viewed as. Islam teaches nothing of the sort, this "jihad" they keep saying, stands for struggle, meaning you have to bare with whatever is brought upon you, not bombing a place because you want to. These people are just using Islam as an excuse; their true motive, nobody will ever know.
I think we are having a disagreement regarding exactly what "the message" is. Personally, I feel like the post supports the conclusion that "the message" is just to be an overall good person. And I would argue that, while holy texts can offer some good points, they also carry some nonsense, i.e. the Bible's rejection of homosexuality. In fact, the makings of a good person can be found in many sources besides the aforementioned texts – each of which self-proclaim themselves as being more correct than all the alternatives.
I like this a lot, like can we stop bombing each other and being rude. Because no matter which religion it's from, they all pretty much say be a good person.
