Seriously I work in the homes of people with special needs. And the guy I am with today is asleep. I've done the cleaning and stuff. So now I just wait until I have to do meds in 3 hours

So what do the people with special needs do for three hours?

My whole shift is 8 hours. I got here at 3:00 pm, its 5:57 pm now, I get off at 11pm. They do whatever they do. I help them live as independently as possible. I do the cooking, the cleaning, help them bathe, do their meds, drive them around, clean them up after the poop. Etc etc. And thank you mrssparkelz, I like you too and you're cool as well.

And every now and then we are lucky enough to cross paths with people on similar journeys, and if we are really lucky we will travel with them and they with us. And just maybe they will stay when the path gets too rough and help us through it and we help them.
