I'm confused. I'm sleep deprived right now. Can someone simplify this?

please know that time is not existent when you "time travel" (if its even possible) the only thing that could happen is that you travel to an alternate dimension/universe (if they exist) because time is not a physical thing it is only our minds telling us that our universe is continuing forward (or possibly backwards) and yeah so this isn't possible

If time isn't a physical thing why is it affected by gravity?

If time travel is possible, which I think it is, it means that every single moment in time is existing simultaneously. For example, when people travel on vacation, the place they are coming from and the place they are going to both exist at the same time. So if we apply that to time travel it means that every moment in time to infinitum of the universe is existing at once. George Washington is alive, you are not born, you are alive, and you are dead. Understand?

Even if time travel was possible there's still the huge problem of changing locations. Everything int he universe is constantly moving. The Earth wasn't here 10 years ago, 1 year ago or even 2 seconds ago. So sure you might be able to go back or forward in time, you'll just end up in the middle of no where floating around in space.
