Not necessarily. While that can be a factor for the very surface in bright daylight, the ocean itself is actually blue due to shadows and refraction, as I mentioned before. The reflection of the sky accounts only for surface color. Actually, I have read a few things supporting the idea that the sky is more in reflection of the ocean.... but I'm not completely sure how legitimate those ideas are.

Okee dokee the molecules ARE NOT blue, the materials dissolved in the water can be slightly green-blue, however, most of that blue color we see comes from the shadows formed by the depth of the water, and the remainder comes from the refracted light bouncing off, being absorbed, or being 'bent' by the water. Green/blue/indigo/violet are shorter wavelengths, so they respond differently to the water's electromagnetic wave refraction and absorption properties.

This looks like a clip from a soap opera. "The mad butt-sniffer was actually..... FIDO!" *GASP!!!!!!!!* *dramatic head turn/ face zoom."

Well I know chlorine is in water, and is harmless in small amounts, but I don't see the purpose of it in diapers to begin with.

:/ oh... that sucks she won't let you. And I think, depending on how it's parted, and if it is washed sufficiently, anyone can look good with long hair.

You can still have long lovely hair! One of my best friends has hair past his shoulder blades. He is a completely straight male, and it is wonderfully majestic.

Well, agree to disagree, I suppose. I'm not going to reiterate things I have already said (as we both have already started king), and we quite obviously, have different views. Nobody seems to be changing anybody's mind here.

Alrighty here. Kids will not act on their own accord if they have an adult right behind them, helping them, supervising them closely. I didn't say standing ten feet away. I mean right by them, directing them, and, even if the proper supervision was not present, I don't think the majority of kids over the age of say, five, will just run around shooting willy-nilly, as they do have a sense of reason at that age. And I don't believe I said anything about 'everybody owning a gun' to promote safety. Extensive background checks should, be conducted before a gun is sold to anyone....I do not believe everybody should be carrying guns to the grocery store.

My dads UPS center just installed tracking/speed monitoring devices in the trucks... if they go over the speed limit, they can be fired for reckless work.

Mercury doesn't have much of an atmosphere so, while the part facing the sun is very hot, the part facing away becomes very cold, as there is nothing to provide insulation and prevent heat loss, and the planet's face proximal to the sun prevents the radiating heat from the sun from ever reaching the distal side.

I think, in appropriate situations (idpa/rifle competition, target shooting, licensed concealed carry, trap, hunting, etc), using a gun is, as it should be, normal and okay.

Supervised. Closely. Like, someone right behind them, who is used to using guns themselves (whether in idpa, hunting, or professional situations). With those circumstance, there would have to be freak odds for someone to get hurt. You would be insane to leave them unattended with a gun, even just for a blink of eye, though. I said supervised, as in, closely supervised. And @lindsmolinari guns are very different than poisonous snakes. that was a terrible analogy. Poisonous snakes at on their own accord. Guns do not. And I can assure you I am not 'out of my mind.'

I got my first gun when I was five. I think if a child is supervised, they should be given guns at a young age, so they can get a feel for what it can do, and take care around them, not just be afraid of them like so many are today.
