They've run out of ideas. The original writers are gone (I think) and the new writers just can't seem to catch the magic of the first few seasons and can't grasp the fact that this newer stuff, like Kenny the cat, is just idiotic. I love spongebob! Been watching since the beginning. But it is getting stupider and stupider. Instead of actually comedy these new episodes are relying on some sort of shock humor, the "What the f**k just happened haha" reaction I guess...

Well I don't. I just figured there was some psychological reason for it. There is one for why
