I feel like most people would be able to tell a real vagina from a plastic one. Real vaginas have fluids and hairs?? Also--the "realistic" sex dolls cost thousands of dollars?? Did you really drop all the money for this?

Actually, it may be either rape or sex depending on the case, but it's one or the other

Men should feel like men if that's what they want. As long as it doesn't involve anyone else behaving a different way (getting my nails done doesn't require my boyfriend to behave anyway) then go for it.

Good on you, live your life and see if I ever stop you from identifying with whatever you want to identify as (as long as you don't threaten anyone else's existence)

It's meant to be funny, but it's scary for women because to me, this says "no matter how 'equal' we are, men will still have power over you" (physical strength). It flips this notion of equality on its head by recalling one of the most prominent threats to women's safety: men beating them.

Also I'm female, I've read the Bible cover to cover (before I was Catholic) and I don't understand all of it, but I do know a lot about a few select portions

Then, I had what I would call a "religious experience" and I haven't gone back. I know it might've just been neurochemicals firing in response to what I wanted to hear: "God is real." But honestly, even if it was, I don't care. It's my life, I'll never know for certain if God's real or not, so I'm going to say, screw everyone, I choose to believe because what's the consequence? My parents raised me not to hate anyone and I still don't hate anyone. Believing in God hasn't made me want to change other people's lifestyles or convert anyone so I went with it. I will say, though, before I joined a religious institution, i wrote a letter to myself with a single question on it and that question was: "Do you think all human beings are deserving of love and kindness?" And I promised myself that if I ever looked at that and thought for even a second that that wasn't true, I'd get out. For good.

@kuruma_itsutsuki agreed. Most "debates" are just an atheist against someone guy who keeps saying "Well the BIBLE says..." *cue eyeroll*
I was raised culturally Catholic, but was always interested in religious belief. I thought about becoming Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist, or Wicca, Buddhism and Wicca attracting my attention the most. However, around this time last year I stumbled onto a video called "why I left Wicca" which really revealed to me the fact that there is no "perfect" religion. More than that, when I got down to it, they all said (at their core) the same thing: be nice to people and don't try to find happiness in material goods. So, I started going to a (pretty liberal) Catholic Church and figured I'd learn a few things about how to be less shitty.

truth is, as you say, difficult to find but Truth (capital T) is impossible. And you're right--everyone is out to win an argument and I should acknowledge my bias a little more. I'm out to kill my Ego, and if I'm to do that, first I need that it exists. If you would ever like to debate someone who knows the workings of a religion a little more intimately (I'm a Catholic convert), then by all means hmu, I'd love to debate.
As for your humanity--what the fuck is humanity? Is that that thing we once had as children before life bent us over, or am I thinking of innocence?

I'm not out to win an argument, @kuruma_otsutsuki, though I often disagree with you. I'm only looking to approach Truth, which I believe can be found in neither a liberal nor a conservative point of view. That being said, I appreciate the acknowledgement, and yes, I did agree with you

Okay, I was talking about my comment??? But since you brought it up, this is a feminist post. The point is that if women band together ("90% of women"), then they can create real change, regardless of their country's economic development.

YES. THAT'S MY FUCKING POINT. THIS ISN'T SOME FEMINAZI GIMMICK. My entire THESIS (if you read it at all) was to stop playing "who's more oppressed." Understood?

No one doubts that there are difficulties that women have (periods, childbirth, men acting poorly towards them) and difficulties that men have (getting an erection every time they're aroused, pressure to perform during sex, women acting poorly towards them). But to say "men have it worse" is to devalue women's issues. Do you want to know the truth, kuruma? Do you want to know the actual truth of the little societies on this little blue marble? Those statements have no value. Some women live terrible lives, some live wonderfully, and some men live terrible live and some live wonderfully. Am I going to say that you lead a better life than I do because you have a Y chromosome (I assume)? I don't know you. For all I know, you're the unluckiest bastard in America. Do you get me? Do you see what I'm saying?

@kuruma_otsutsuki first off, good job recognizing that being told you can't oppress another group (hitting women) isn't oppression. (<--not sarcasm. Many people in power never get to this point. Let me repeat that: BEING TOLD YOU CANT OPPRESS SOMEONE ISNT OPPRESSION) Secondly, please stop with the whole "men have it worse than women" thing. I could sit here and list off all the ways I've been oppressed, but you wouldn't like that, would you? I told you I wasn't going to play the game of "who's more oppressed." And you know what? I don't like that game anyways. That game gets in the way of progress, and if there's one thing I believe it's that we should always move forward. Moreover, let me let you in on a secret:

@kuruma_otsutsuki Fair enough, you allos and your strange behaviors continue to elude me and I often forget that other people have impulses. If that's all you're talking about and not about being pervy and hitting on someone openly, then we can say we agree.

@kuruma_otsutski please tell me some ways you have personally been oppressed by women. I'm genuinely curious, and no, I'm not playing "I'm more oppressed than you." This is an honest question.

I'd disagree. I think most feminist are moderate, normal women like me. We just aren't that vocal about it because we get embarrassed by the outliers. That being said, I don't have any statistical data on the proportion of feminists to misandrists.

@kuruma_otsutsuki I thought you respected science. I though our discussion about atheism and faith was civil yet provocative and fascinating. Your comments here have made me lose a lot of respect for you as a debater. Shame, really. I was looking forward to more conversations with you.
