What are you talking about? Of course you sometimes praise somebody for their job especially if they try their best. Even tho they get paid hearing words of appreciation from people can make them very happy during their stressful days of work - e.g the hard working doctors/nurses during this virus-crisis oder soldiers trying to protect your country. They get paid but it costs 0$ For YOU to tell somebody they‘re doing an awesome job and their work is really appreciated
