Thanks for reminding me to do a back up of my thesis. Putting it on an external and on the cloud right now. I couldn't imagine having everything completely lost when I'm so close to being done.

It's fake, I've seen it on other places where they say it's fake as they post it. It's just a funny read.

I was living in southern Alaska, about 45 minutes away from Anchorage, and the one store in town was selling the one cantaloupe they had for $24. Someone wanted it but didn't have enough money so they cut it in half and sold it for $12. Stuff is crazy expensive up there.

Hey! That's my high school! It's a great nerd school called the Maine School for Science and Mathematics. How I miss our weird traditions <3

I agree. I try to have my thesis that I'm working on backed up on least four different sources.

They have to do a lot of different kinds of tests to actually make a diagnosis. Here's the difference between normal and Marfan syndrome finger-wrist ratios: http://www.primehealthchannel.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/marfan-syndrome-hand.jpg
You're likely just fairly tall, but if your curious here's some information about it: http://www.marfan.org/about/signs
(I've been writing a paper on this for like 3 days straight)

So it's a genetic condition that affects how your muscles and bones connect to each other. Part of how they test for it is checking the ratio between the fingers and wrist, and they do it by having the person hold their wrist just like in this picture. People with it are typically very tall and lanky.

I don't think that's just skinny, it looks like a person with Marfan syndrome. I /just/ finished writing a 10 page paper on it today.

It's because when we're alive a ton of bacteria can live on your teeth and eat the sugars in your mouth which breaks them down. But when you die there's no more food for the bacteria, so your teeth remain as they were.

The book If On a Winter's Night a Traveler by Italo Calvino is basically a story about this. It's a great book, but a bit confusing sometimes because you, the reader, is one of the characters in the book
