I agree with you. It's great to do good things, let's be proud of this person for doing this, I enjoyed reading it, but sometimes it just seems that people can't feel good just but knowing they did something good. They want everyone else to know about how amazing they are. On a side note, there were no names used and it was completely anonymous. Faith in humanity has been restored, but it does get annoying when people are just fishing for compliments. Kudos to you for saving someone, but it is a little asinine when people do it and brag about it acting like "I'm so great" etc, etc.
