No problem :) Thanks for not being a douche and understanding! I've just found that we need to forgive and forget or we ruin ourselves. The other person will never hold on to the past because they don't care, but by dwelling on it, we only mess ourselves up.

So let's quit talking about it and take action because words on a screen have little to no value :) You want to be an advocate for rape victims, then go do it. Don't preach on the internet. Preach in real life, on the street, on a stage, wherever. But one person saying something messed up and us all talking back doesn't fix the problem, it doesn't make anyone want to be nice and get along because we're all arguing! Just my thoughts on it.

I didn't see the post but what I gathered was that he was joking around. I must be wrong! But, men can get raped too, so I don't think we should focus on women. Rape is very serious but if we can't talk about different view points without becoming offended, what can we saw for ourselves as people? That's my view on it. We live in a place where freedom of speech is praised and fought for, but when someone says something blatantly fucked up, we get upset. Let's all just have some tougher skin, or look the other way and ignore the fucked up people instead of letting them phase us. Words and actions are two different things, and until he acts on his threat, can we forget about it? I think that everyone is different and everyone obviously reacts differently, but getting into a long argument/discussion doesn't solve problems. If you want to do something valuable about rape, rape culture, rape victims, then get off your butt and go out and make an impact. No one here is being impacted.

But, as alwaysreva said, Calm and the guest were both hate bashing, too. Talking about a "hater" by being hateful doesn't help anyone and doesn't solve the situation.
