I always picture @guest_ to have stack of books and articles around them at all times, almost like Gandalf in that one scene in Lord of the Rings, with scrolls and papers everywhere

Same! I tend to comment sporadically, so people either learn a lot about me all at once, or have no idea who I am!

Well, I've been an obnoxious lurker, so I have no idea what people think of me, but @famousone and @xvarnah always have funny comments/insights, and it's always fun to have debates/read books from @guest_ !

Jesus wasn't really "whitewashed" in the way you might be thinking. Early Christian missionaries to Britain, Ireland and Scotland specifically, had trouble getting the Celtic people to really understand what Jesus and His message meant. To help, they tried to use local and cultural heroes, Cuchulainn specifically comes to mind, to put a face and a little context into their stories. Iconography was then made based on that description. It wasn't done to be insensitive or racist.

I was helping my grandpa put his dock in, and I kept getting bit by this obnoxious sunfish. If I wasn't constantly moving my feet, this aquatic monster would immediately start chomping on any exposed flesh he could find!

@xvarnah from my own research, prosecutors are also looking to see if there was a more personal grudge regarding Floyd and the cop, as they both worked as security for the same business at roughly the same time, though they are unsure if the two ever interacted. It would provide a motive, though.

To me, it was a show that had serious moments, but didn't take itself too seriously. The time jumps were a bit confusing at first, but when I got it, it was pretty cool! I ended up really enjoying it!

I think Men in Black summed it up perfectly: "A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky, dangerous animals". The media just uses that to their advantage.

Weight can be very important for the doctor. Yes, a big reason is to give patients proper drug dosages, since over prescribing can and will kill people. Doctors will also look at how constant your weight is. If you are loosing a ton of weight with no diet or exercise regimen, that is a problem and can give them more information on what labs to order, same as if you gain a ton of weight for no reason. They don't weigh you to "bully" you they weigh you to get more information.

Also, making time for hobbies or mind numbing enjoyment! I have had to make time for myself, only an hour or so a day, to take my mind off of my classes to just enjoy some time for me. Sometimes I take a nap, sometimes I watch some Netflix, but after my time is up and I get back to work, I always feel a lot better, and have an easier time focusing. I hope some of these help!

Well, I know for work and studies, it helps me to keep the end goal in mind. For the past few years I had worked some minimum wage, part time jobs and I felt like I was just going in circles when it comes to school. When I got discouraged with work, I tried to remind myself that this is only temporary, only a stepping stone to where I want to be. For school, I know it can feel like an endless pit, but once I got into a program with real direction and taking classes that got me to my goal, it helped refocus my direction. It's not always perfect, and I still get caught up in it all, but keeping an end goal in mind seems to help me!

It's not too big of an issue! While I agree that seeing a therapist would be a good idea, if there is something, anything you need advice on, even if it's small, I'm sure there are plenty of people here willing to help!
