I don't know every detail that goes into determining battery life, but you can check the stats for yourself. The majority of good android phones have way better battery life than iphones.

You shouldn't have moved to ios from an s6. In fact you should have done the opposite. Your s6 should not have become slow. It must have been defective. And there are android phones with better build quality than iphones. Have you seen how iphones are made? It's about the least "made with care" phone out there.
