As in, I wouldn’t be completely angry with a drunk person who thought they were breaking into their own home whereas I would be a little upset with a completely alert and oriented adult breaking into my child’s bedroom. If I had to guess, I’d say @famousone’s whole argument is that if you think it is a good idea, try to get it to happen in your state, don’t just go to the federal level. There’s no reason for you to tell people three states away that they should have certain things/laws.

You can be against famousone’s opinion all you want but call a spade a spade and point out the fact that hammerhead is being ridiculous and then calls on a pity party. One party here is stating their opinion and speaking about an ideal and the other is simply attacking the first. It’s not right. Hammerhead calls you slimmy and a prick and what not but doesn’t offer anything of substance or even their own damn opinion. I’ve seen @famousone ‘s posts and I have thought “woah man calm down” a time or two. But that doesn’t give anyone the right to outright insult you without any cause or provocation and especially without any substantive opinion or ideal themself

Every time I see @halfdeadhammerhead comment it is either a bashing/insulting someone or a hate filled narrative about the country as a whole. Rarely anything productive or positive. And as there are two attacking @famousone here, just making sure to voice an opinion to show them there is support for their statement of fuck you.

It just comes down to people who are inconsiderate and are selfish. There is a lack of empathy and community mindfulness now

@mrscollector the best argument in favor of your opinion would be the opposite scenario. people getting mad about people trying to be quiet in a library. When you go somewhere, you have a broad idea of what you’re going to get and you can’t complain about the scenario. When you go to the beach, you know there will be loud people playing music and screaming and yelling. You go to a park, you know there’s going to be kids running around and screaming and yelling. You go to a library, you know you are supposed to be quiet. If you don’t like atmosphere, don’t go.
