Am I the only one that thinks this discussion is really horrible? I mean these comments are pretty sadistic

That sounds pretty sick. I agree that crimes like that are unforgivable but the death penalty seems inhumane, more so when you counter in false accusations and especially if you describe the people you are taking a life from as "vermin" and "no longer a human." These people have done horrible things but they also have a family and a childhood. You can't strip away humanity when discussing someone's life

Wouldn't killing a person because you don't have "human limitations" be just as bad?

I've heard that at high tide the path connecting it to land gets engulfed by water, making it an island. Maybe it happened for extra long or something.

The original radio show is brilliant. I've only read the first book but I would recommend both
