You are right. Sometimes I am just stating a fact and a man goes "relax, calm down" it is very annoying when you are just trying to make a point in a conversation. I have also been in the situation that someone says something extremely misogynist in front of me and I'm not going to let it just go because that person gets used to others accepting that brhavior. However!, both sides have their own BS. Some women are like the post says, and they want to pretend the their rude attitude is just strong personality. Those women need to learn how to speak to others without being Aholes.

Yeah it is sad. I Grew up in venezuela and back in the day, when it was a better country, my cousins would fly to my town and it was like that (it was included on ticket price to assure kid's safety). Some us now live in he US and now, and me cousins' kids want to vist other cousins and they couldn't because of that (more expensive, had to pay for flight attendant extra work)

I just had this conversation work my family. We remembered how back home and in the day if a kid traveled alone they'd be under the care of a flight attendant. It was actually cool because they would be like VIP, getting in and out first, a flight attendant always checking on them, and taking them to meet the pilot. I thought that was normal but apparently in the US you have to pay extra for that.
