I am a tetrochromat. You can find out by seeing colors that are not displayed on RGB screens, and there is also a light test where the tetrochromat bends two rods to similar frequencies. (which I really want to try.) And a tetrochromat also knows when they see a famous work of art in real life that the artist had a similar fourth cone, (aka me vs starry night.)
