Smoking is a choice. Those who smoke know the risks and yeah I agree they shouldn't do it in public buildings or rigt outside of entrances but to completely eliminate it is crazy. You see someone smoking don't go by them. If by public you mean buildings or next to entrances or exits then fine. But if you mean sidewalks, parking lots, then that's too far. We have freedom of choice and you can choose to walk ahead of the smoker, other side of the street ect.
