Check out the group Collective Shout, they're very good at picking up sexist things in the media, and although it's predominately sexism against women they point out (cause hey, that's what's mostly out there), they're also zero tolerance on sexism against men.

Let me think, there's a picture of someones real blood, real murder, and it's made into a period joke. Don't think there's any humour in that.

It's an Australian type humour, the people that acted in this were all in on it. It's not racist, just funny.

I'd say if she reacted like this, tell her 'okay, if you don't want it, we're going to sell it and donate the money to the homeless, no presents for you'. Then she'd realise what a good present she actually got.

Yes, I do regularly. Perhaps you don't, which is fine, that might just be the way you work, but I have plenty of friends I'm happy to just be around and email and talk to about their day, or my day, or their opinion about a random thing. And they message me for the same.

Mate I was just asking a question. Questioning isn't being rude. Seriously, literally nowhere in my response up there did I say the opinion was wrong/stupid etc, I just asked a simple question for more information and then offered a piece of information from my own experience. That's how conversations work, no?
Anyway, sounds to me like she just didn't want a relationship, which is fine, but just wanted a friendship, which is also fine. If you were just wanting a relationship, maybe you should have just explained that to her. I'm sorry it caused you heartache, and wish I worked out for you, but she has every right to just want to be friends.
Friendzone is a myth, relationships are complicated, and sometimes, women just don't want to go out with a certain man, and that should be enough, without having to label the woman with something negative. That was what my original point was.

But isn't that suggesting there's a friendzone? And I can guarantee, as a straight female, that I definitely am not sexually attracted to some of my guy friends in any way shape or form.

Mate the chemicals they were coated with created wounds that last literally a lifetime, the heal partially but never fully. And your 'fact' about them being treated right away is complete utter bs, and even if their physical harm could be completely removed that quickly, how do you expect their mental trauma to be? Sure, if you're a dog that's great. But if you're a human getting licked by a dog, you have a chance of catching things like hydatids and hookworm. Get bitten by a dog and suddenly you've got an infected bite if their teeth aren't clean and have remnants of meat in them. A baby with a weak immune system is the worst target. This gif might be 'cute' but it's downright irresponsible.
