I had a retailer take money that they weren't supposed to and struggled for 2 and a half months the have it paid back. Perks of living in South Africa.

When I was still in primary school we had these fundraisers where you would get a list and have people sponsor you (they would say that they give you X-amount for every word) then you would have to read, and they would pay you based on how many words you were able to read in a minute.
So basically if you managed to raise 450 Rands (30$) then the school would take you to the cinema at a later point and you could watch a movie (which they pick), and I remember always losing my shit and doing my complete best to get the cash together. Only figures out when I was a little older that I could do it all for a lot less.

I'm all for medium rare, but this is just disgusting.
