Graphing only works in radian mode and is convenient for mathematics. Degrees are what most people understand. Gradians are used mainly in surveying and are convenient when working with vectors in the complex plane. Turns are used mostly for the windings of electromagnets and angular speed of rotating machinery (RPM). (360 degrees = 2pi ... 400 gradians = 2pi ... 1 turn = 2pi)

Yep the liquid is used to cool superconducting magnets so you can have VERY high magnetic field strength (over 8 Tesla). I don't know of any common technological use for the gas. Although it is sometimes used to displace tank volume as the fuel is used out of liquid fueled rockets.

I see what he's trying to do, but you should actually teach dogs to never take food from strangers, just like you would teach a child the same thing.

Fun to watch, but it's a horrible idea, it's like mass littering. Also, the helium wasted in this sort of stunt has far more important applications in medicine and science.

Yes, which used to be quite common in aviation in the days of propeller driven airplanes.

In which book, which verse, and which version?
edit: AH! Found it. Proverbs 30:31 in the King James Version.
The actual Hebrew word used is "mothen" from a root meaning to be slender; properly, the waist or small of the back; only in plural the loins.

How were those percentages calculated? Are they based on the screen area they take up? Or were some reasonable assumptions made about the volume of the item and then calculated?
