I also prefer "hydrogen hydroxide" because it is closer to actual chemical nomenclature. One time in grad-school I filled a bottle with water and labeled it "Hydrogen Hydroxide: 55.5 Molar" and sat it back on the shelf. I still sometimes wonder if anyone ever realized.

Being offended on someone's behalf isn't kind, it's pity, and that's probably even more insulting.

Save up the lint and melt a bit of wax onto it to make firelighters. Great for camping or emergencies.

Organic farming: using land that could have fed thousands to feed dozens.
Approved pesticides pose absolutely ZERO health risk. In fact, many "natural" or "organic" pesticides are more toxic than the conventional alternative. Furthermore, as that_gamer_girl has already stated, GMOs are perfectly safe and have successfully eliminated hunger in many parts of the world.
