I fully expect to find a second mouth on the end of its tongue.

I've never understood why people seem to think it's necessary to clean a street. I mean sure, pick up the trash and whatnot, but why would you need to actually WASH the street?

Wait... hold up... You're telling me that Gallifreyan is an actual language? Where.. How... when... WHAT? There are people that can actually read that!?!?

"You are not special. You're not a beautiful and unique snowflake. You're the same decaying organic matter as everything else. We're all part of the same compost heap. We're the all singing, all dancing crap of the world." -Tyler Durden (Fight Club)

The hottest AIR temperature recorded on Earth was 56.7°C. And the AIR temperature inside a car rose by 31°C after 4 hours. What we're concerned with here is the temperature of the case.
Polypropylene CD cases (and polypropylene items in general) tend to have a more frosted appearance due to partial crystallization of the polymer chains.
Yes indeed, it was most certainly "hot as balls".

Oh I would MUCH rather use metric. Unfortunately I am frequently forced to do otherwise.

CD cases are made of polystyrene which has a softening point of 90°C (glass transition temperature = 100°C), so it was at least 90°C.

Apparently the numbat is also known as the "banded anteater"... which explains the tongue.

10 grams and 7 cm tall? ... It must have an absurdly low density.
Let's say that its body diameter is roughly a third of its height, approximating its volume as a cylinder we have V=pi*[(1.16)^2]*7=29.93 cubic centimeters. Which gives a rough estimate of density at d=(10 grams)/(29.93 cm^3)=0.33 g/cm^3. That's 1/3 the density of water! What is this thing made of?
