Mustard gas 12 comments

Furthermore, mustard gas is more of an incapacitating agent or an area-denial weapon, not so much than a lethal one. When used in warfare it was only lethal in about 1 percent of those exposed. Also, the name mustard gas is a bit of a misnomer, it is actually a liquid that was typically deployed in the form of a mist.

While it is indeed a bad idea to mix bleach with anything nitrogenous (ammonia, urine, fertilizer, etc.) it DOES NOT make mustard gas. It DOES tend to produce toxic compounds but none of them are mustard gas or even anything similar to mustard gas. It is FAR more dangerous to mix bleach with any type of acid (vinegar, some toilet bowl cleaners, lemon juice, even cola) because it results in the release of chlorine gas.

I thought I was pretty dang pale, until I got dehydrated and collapsed while playing paintball. Judging by the number of people who rushed to my aid, I must have looked like a ghost.

I hope he showed up later to help carry all that flour home, otherwise the joke quickly turns into a chore.

So, really this is the journey of one of the grains of silica in the rock as a whole.
I'm convinced the first one isn't a joke. Why must people insist on doing this??? 5 comments

As a parent: I totally agree! There is this totally unproductive prevailing attitude of "The government/school-system should do everything for me." No. Teaching children is the responsibility of the PARENT, the school-system is just there to help.

I would argue that this particular case has nothing to do with sexuality at all. It's just 2 penguins who teamed up to take care of an egg.
