As I've said before... The correct response to bad ideas is not violence or suppression of speech, it is BETTER IDEAS.

That's why America is so great, we make an effort to integrate all the best ideas/people/cultures into our society. "American" isn't a race, it's a nation, but more importantly it's a shared ideology.

I'll vouch for the appropriateness of this. I have had anxiety attacks that made me physically ill, it's not something that can be shrugged off.

The enormous depth of field on scanning electron microscopes always amazes me. Also, this was clearly made by a very skilled operator. It is quite tricky to find and keep an interesting feature in frame while zooming in and at the same time keeping the beam from scorching the sample.
