"Blind spot" in the sense of a vehicle, is defined as the places you can't see without turning your head not including places covered by the mirrors.

Exactly! The real societal purpose of marriage is the protection of children, and the erosion of the sanctity of marriage is the reason we have so many damaged people like the one shown above. Marriage is supposed to be one-way, the whole point of it is that divorce is supposed to be unthinkable. Work out your problems together, COMMUNICATE with your spouse. (Granted, if there's a lot of cheating or abuse and it doesn't change after making attempts to change it then you may have a solid case for divorce.)

Why is an orange called an orange but grapes aren't called purples? 7 comments
jimcrichton · 7 years ago
*googles* ... TIL that the name "grapefruit" is a reference to the fact that they grow in clusters. Also, that grapefruits are an accidental hybrid species arising from two introduced species. Additionally, I learned that the taxonomy of the genus Citrus is annoyingly complex.

When using your microscope 7 comments

You have to adjust the distance between your eye and the objective lens as well as the internal focus of the microscope. Also, use one with separate coarse and fine focus knobs if at all possible.

Is anyone else annoyed that the inclusion of the +2 in the linear equation and the -2 in the parabola serve no real purpose (other than making the equations look more complicated) in the absence of a defined origin point on the faces of the people?
