We need to fix ourselves before we can fix others. Its not selfish we cant help people while we still need help.

Its not only conservative republican men that are against abortion. Stop being so "open minded" and then generalizing people. People who are against abortion all have different reasons just like people who are for it.

Unlike race, FAT OR THIN IS A CHOICE.and its not a choice to fit a standard of beauty its a choice to be HEALTHY. There are people in wheelchairs who maintain healthy weight because they know it's a choice. Curvy and slim are natural but overweight is not. And dont try to use excuses and say im the one with the problem.

Or u could live in poverty struggling to eat and live in the constant fear of what may happen to your family. Or you could BE GRATEFUL FOR YOUR OPPORTUNITY and know others would give anything for what you have.

Um...capitalism is (if it's done right) supposed to aid the middle/working class. It's not like a cast system. That's fascism or over the top communism. Seriously get educated before you throw out comments like that.

You are terribly misinformed. Give me more information before you turn an issue like that into a joke.
And...not Iraqis but terrorist attacks have killed THOUSANDS of people

It's not legal depending on where you are there are only a few abortionists who are willing to do it. It's called the "MOLD" technique where they inject a drug into the fetus called digoxin to literal kill it, or as they say "initiate fetal demise". Although many pro-life groups are slowly closing these clinics down one by one they're are still some that are open in the United States although I'm not positive exactly where off the top of my head...I also heard a story about an abortionist who was jailed for murder because the woman he was going to perform an abortion on gave birth before he could proceed so he performed the operation on the fetus after it was out of her body. Really? so the only difference is whether or not it's in the mother? to me it's all so...well, it just makes me uncomfortable.

Ben Carson, who grew up with just his mother in a poor family and became one of the most successful brain surgeons in the world? or Chris Gardner, who was homeless raising his son and worked the stock market and became a millionaire? they understood and respected the past, but they didn't dwell on it. they only looked at the future. personally I think that dwelling on the past or dwelling on groups that are now very small and looked down upon by most people is dishonoring the memory of leaders like Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Jr. they didn't want to dwell on the past, they wanted to learn from it and move forward. which is exactly what Sir Charles is saying too.

I didn't mean it's totally gone but it's very, very small. and actually there are several groups that are for Black Supremacy and for Asian Supremacy you just don't hear about them. I really think part of the problem is that some people want to guilt trip everyone into staying in the past. for example there were actually more white Irish slaves than African slaves, but they don't want us to know. there were several black slave owners that actually tried to stop it from being abolished. but they're trying to make everything black and white (no pun intended). another example is the film industry. Ellen DeGeneres pointed out as much. if "12 Years a Slave" hadn't won best picture, we're all racist. not saying it's not a good film, but can't deny it wasn't part of the vote. and why don't we hear about great people who got past the race gap like C.J. Walker, the first female millionaire in America? the daughter of a slave who went door to door selling hair products.

no I said if I had to make a choice I would choose the baby but if I had no choice if I was just pregnant...I would keep the baby. but if I had to choose I would always choose the baby. sort of like Sophie's Choice. she chose the older child even though it killed her because they were both her children.

Okay I can't speak for Spain but when I was studying abroad in England a local told me that even though the individual price for health care is lower it's because taxes are higher so it's not really cheaper. It's just how the pay is spread out. And if you don't mind paying for someone else's health care then instead of trying to change the USA...just move to Canada or England?

understandable. there are plenty of foster children in America already. and personally I believe if its rape an abortion is justified. however, if it isn't, with condoms, free birth control, emergency contraception...I just don't see how a woman can say she didn't see it coming unless she's just not thinking. even if she's drunk that still counts as rape, by the way. but if she's sober and consenting, then where was the thinking? I am a woman, by the way. also, something else that confuses me...if someone is pronounced dead when their heart stops, then why aren't they pronounced alive when it starts? and one more tidbit. In some states abortion is legal up to A DAY BEFORE birth. but it's illegal if its a day after. really? to me it's not just immoral, it's just plain confusing. I don't see how this is a "women's rights issue". it's a "I don't want to pay for my mistakes" issue.

I'd like to remind you that black segregation is IN THE PAST. the KKK ended years ago. in fact, many African Americans get special treatment (including financial aid at college) soley for the fact that they are a minority. unfortunately a lot of them do feel this pressure from their peers, though. I knew a woman in college who was dating a white man. they didn't think about race, they just liked each other. but her parents said he couldn't come home for Christmas because she was "betraying her people" she was heartbroken. so falling in love was "betrayal?" it shouldn't be that way. but so many people are only focusing on the past when great leaders like Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks wanted us to focus on the FUTURE and GET PAST that type of mind block.

I like your opinion. I actually have had someone close to me experience it. My aunt (RIP) was physically incapable of having children. So she stood outside abortion clinics and begged women to adopt their babies. Most said no, they didn't want to go through pregnancy. However, three said yes, and my three wonderful and beautiful cousins (Stephanie, Elizabeth, and Lily) have a life and aspirations and Stephanie has a daughter of her own because someone decided against an abortion.

I hate this whole "victim" mentality that is plaguing great countries like the USA, England, and Canada. THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD GIVE ME MONEY! THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD PAY FOR MY HEALTHCARE! THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD GIVE ME THINGS BECAUSE OF MY WEIGHT, RACE, RELIGION, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, UPBRINGING, ETC.!!! this is what's ruining us as a people
