I'm really not sure what beauty standards you're into, because as far as I've seen being tan is more attractive. tanning salons, tanning lotion, tanning oil, bronzer. nowhere in any makeup department I've been to have I ever seen has ever sold skin lightening anything. and yes, there are more white actors, teachers, everything, because there's more white people in general. sometimes I myself do feel out of place, especially when I'm with my grandma and she's in her sari (traditional Indian scarf). but I know that it's not their fault, it's just how America is, because it was founded by Europeans. I have been to both England and Italy and felt the same way but no one publicly shamed me for it. and some people might say it's because at one point their were more Irish white slaves than black slaves. I understand feelings of insecurity and discomfort, but I don't understand blaming white people as a whole just for being white. it's the very definition of prejudice

maybe the rich carry privilege, but not white people. and there are rich people of all races. sure, white people probably dominate that, too, but the fact that those people are privileged has to do with money, not race. not in the least. at least not nowadays. why is it that if a black man shoots a white teenager it only makes it to the local news, but if a white/Hispanic man shoots a black teenager it's international disaster? (yes that actually happened around the same time)

you do realize the U.S. would save thousands of dollars a year if they did have an official language, right? Also, English is not only the language all of our government documents are written in, it's the only language required to learn in public schools. I think immigrants are great, and they help the economy, and I understand it's not their first language, but it would be nice if they learned it.

When I studied abroad in Italy I learned Italian. In fact hundreds and thousands of immigrants have and do learn the language all the time. Also the government would save millions if we had an official language

But I do experience it. I'm Indian (as in my grandfather was from India). But he also told me "the reason you can't find a job, got a bad grade, or get treated any way is the color of your skin and the culture you portray, it is the character you show. " very similar to Martin Luther King of I remember correctly. Yes I've gotten racial slurs but I have never once in my entire life thought my white friends or coworkers were privileged. And maybe if everyone stopped accusing them of it we could focus on real problems like unemployment and stuff.

I agree with witty. All this "free" is not free at all. It will increase taxes. The budget is already screwed up. This guy is just buying votes

Oh really? Then why is there an online movement of people saying fat is beautiful (unhealthy) and how we should be more accepting and worse, there are parties where thin people aren't allowed in the door?

Natually Curvy is fine. The woman on the right and several other women in the video are unhealthy and overweight and yet for some reason nowadays pointing that out is being "intolerant"

Actually they're not. They have lyrics like "ima beat that p*ssy up" and yet they publicly shame other celebrities like Miley Cyris (I don't like her either) and suck up to parents

But if this exact same scenario said "black people" it would be racist. THIS IS RACIST

I watched that video. This woman is right. And I'm tired of people saying unhealthy is okay. I get criticized for being too thin and yet I can't critisize a size XXL woman eating freaking McDonald's

Maybe. A lot of things do need to change. However I also don't want my taxes to pay for someone who smokes, someone with an eating disorder, and worse, someone who refuses to work and abuses government welfare. Also, again I ask instead of going through the trouble and arguments trying to change American healthcare, why don't people move to Canada where (apparently) everything is how they like it?

Yes I'm aware. I was saying what people think communism is not what it actually is. But it has parallels to socialism.

because people think communism means "government provides everything" when it really means "government owns your life"
