I have met people who say the first line, but I have never ever heard anything like the second line and I haven't heard either put together.
I think you might have it wrong. I've heard people say "we have enough homeless, hungry people so why do we need more?" but I've never heard immigration control referenced with terrorism

I hate that people are treating Native American history as this black and white thing that can be summarized in one sentence. they had a lot more history than that. a lot more relations with the pilgrims, colonies, and Americans. and I hate even more that stupid people like this are trying to make a holiday about giving Thanks into a bad thing.

can I just say there was one black guy I knew in college who would ALWAYS make fun of my Japanese-American friend by calling him Ching Chong and saying stupid crap like, "oh, sorry bro, that guy on the bike said you're mom can't come home for Christmas this year". nothing against black guys I have a bunch of black friends too but this guy was an as*hole and he always said, "yo bro!
