It's basically telling them they can't succeed in America. I mean sure it's not perfect but is any country? I mean there are countries with child slave labour and but sure tell American lids they have it bad

Not saying any healthcare system is better than anyone else's (America's isn't the best) but there is no "free" healthcare. It might not be out of pocket but don't call it free someone is paying for it

I come from Montana where it's no big deal for a girl to play hockey but now that I'm out of there everyone is like "it's so cool you're a girl hockey player!" Like yeah so it was a girls league

I feel that we need more education to children and adults because a gun is a tool. Think about it, cars kill a lot more people than guns but we are trained to use them properly. I also think that being afraid of a weapon like how schools won't even let kids use finger guns only makes guns more dangerous. Fear is powerful

I grew. In Montana and learned to shoot at 13. Even before then I watched the Eddy Eagle safety videos. I was taught never to be afraid of guns but rather be knowledgeable about their danger. That's what I think we should do rather than prevent people from buying guns

I've been diagnosed with high functioning schizophrenia. I have a full time job, I've never been arrested, never even gotten a speeding ticket...yet that's considered a mental illness even though I'm not considered a risk to myself or others...would I still be able to buy a gun?

personally I find this hype about this commercial nonsense. I've heard many say they were mad because "it was trying to be diverse but they used a white actress". others are saying "It paints the police in a bad light" what I'm saying is IT'S A GODDAMN COMMERCIAL GET OVER YOURSELVES

To clear things up: he was a non-revenue (not a paid ticket) passenger. They politely asked him to get off the plane because it was overbooked. He got off, then ran back on. The police were called and the police were the one who dragged him off. Not united. So if you people could get off your high horses and stop demanding social justice for something you know little about.

To clear things up: the passenger pulled off the flight was a non-revenue-HE DIDN'T HAVE A PAID TICKET. Also, because the flight was overbooked they escorted him (without force) off the place but then he ran back on and that's when they called the police. Technically it's against United's policy to grab a passengeroommate but it was Chicago PD who did the actual grabbing so STFU about this

Yeah but break ins would be less frequent. And you know what? I have a gun in my house. And people have told me to my face I shouldn't. Like that's going to make a difference

At the aquarium where I work there is a sea lion there named Halftime because she was orphaned and wandered into a bar during the Halftime show of the superb owl like "hi I can't find my mommy I think I need a beer"
