Talk about a cool selfie 5 comments

From the looks of the background this sea lion is wild. And from the looks of the size it's only a pup. Getting within 50 yards of wild marine mammals is dangerous and illegal and not worth a f*cking selfie. This guy is an asshole

citation needed. I know a lot of Christians and atheists and they don't seem to have any problem with each other. the media just puts them against each other. and there are cases of atheists discriminating against Christians/religious folk as well

Disregard of rules is not "kids being kids" it's because they were reinforced for doing so. If you had not slapped your brother he would have been rewarded for stealing. Even if dad punished him later the initial reward matters more. And punishment is only effective if it occurs right at the time of behavior therefore punishment after the fact doesn't really make a difference not my opinion just the science if operant conditioning

Very very true. But science tells us positive reinforcement is more effective than punishment. Rewarding them for the good is more effective than punishing the bad no matter how small

Remember Sweden is colder than most places. Plus training can help a dog keep from bolting out the door like that

One of PETAs official mantras is "better dead than fed". The answer is yes, they honestly think an animal ( matter how well cared for) is better of dead than in human care. Zoos, pets, service animals...they are against any human-animal interaction whatsoever

a person can be religious and believe in science at the same time. Science is proven fact but religion has been known to help a lot more people than it hurts

"sharing the Gospel" to me is sharing the idea of love and forgiveness to those who are feeling down. "shoving religion down their throats" is saying people will go to Hell if they don't practice those beliefs

Yes Lisa because surely you have enough animal husbandry and behavioral training to tell how the animals feel

it SHOULD be illegal everywhere. many animals and people are hurt because humans try to interact with wild animals. let the wild be wild and if you want a cute photo just go to the zoo.

are there any good book to movie adaptations that DON'T totally spit on the book? apart from the biggies like LotR, HP, & HG. *cough cough* Percy Jackson. also I didn't know it was made by Buena Vista. I stand corrected

The film itself was not made by Disney in any possible way. They paid Disney and Warner Bros. For permission to use famous characters such as Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny. However the film was so successful that Disney bought the rights. They also liked the idea of Toontown and they wanted to build it in Disneyland so they needed the rights to the name and idea of Toontown. As it happens Jessica Rabbit used to appear at the park alongside her husband Roger but parents complained it wasn't family friendly (assholes). But the movie itself (amazing film) wasn't made by Disney
