Gorillas only walk like this when they're carrying something. If you look closely he's holding food

But that's a Biblical name. It's not "made up". Ebony is traditionally considered an African American name (for obvious reasons) but I think it's pretty. But La-a? I still cant.

I'm a zookeeper. First this picture is out context that particular elephant was never alone. Second it's not possible for an animal raised by humans to go live in the wild. Many of them are in zoos for that reason. I worked with 3 dolphins who were deaf and a sea lion who was blind. I worked with two parrots who couldn't fly. How are they supposed to survive? Or are you saying they deserve to die?

Very annoying students 1 comments

I used to be a teacher and it was so satisfying when this happened because no matter how loud the kids were I would ignore them until they raised their hands and then the yellers would say "I just said that!" And I could smirk and say "I didn't see you raise your hand"

Yeah but they never mention Congress or state governments or the hundreds of others involved. And even then they use the administration they say "the presidents administration"

I'm a teacher in a predominantly Hispanic area and I can say it's not a white people thing it's a new age parents thing. Like WTF Is wrong with naming your kid Susan or Michael or Isabella or Ebony why do I have students named Nathaly (pronounced Natalie) and La-a (pronounced Ladasha...not kidding)

I gotta hand it to Olympic curlers because unlike other athletes, their sport doesn't pay. Most of them have regular jobs (I think one is a middle school math teacher. One of the women works at a sporting goods store) because they don't have a lot of sponsors. But they still train and travel and compete in the same level as skiers and ice skaters. These guys are awesome I'm so proud of them

I was visiting Tokyo and I struck up q conversation at a coffee shop and when I asked him where Akihabara (it's where all the anime stuff is) his face fell and he asked if I only came to Japan for anime. I assured him I had so much more planned i just wanted to see it and he lightened up but he said some locals get annoyed when crazy otaku show up thinking that's what all of Japan is

It's sad that some women complain that they're oppressed because they can't have free birth control yet in some countries they're still forcing kids into marriage

I'm just using the genetic biology we know to be true among all known species so it's safe to assume it's the same for unknown species

If we look at things genetically a centaur may carry recessive human and horse genes and may have a completely human or horse child

Biologically they would have to have intercourse with the horse parts therefore that is where the uterus is located and the centaur would get pregnant in the horse part

As a teacher i can't stand "unique progressive" names like Tzo-Tzil, Heshlany, and La-a (pronounced LA DASH AH) all real names I swear. What's wrong with naming your kid Micheal or Susan?

I meant starting. Meaning technically I'm a long term substitute in the process of receiving a teaching certificate from the State with the plan of being a normal paid teacher when i get it.
